![]() In seventh grade I caught the peacock bug. It started with a pair of blues, as it usually does, but as soon as I looked at a few sites on the internet and saw how many different colors and types there were I just had to have more. A year later, I had 12 birds and 6 different colors. Now, I have 25 or so adult birds and a passel of chicks, yearlings and two year olds waiting for new homes. It's been a wild ride, filled with excitement and disapointment, but in the end it's worth it just to watch my guys and gals interact and show off for each other and me. Read about my experiences with peafowl or check out my photo galleries of my beautiful birds. ![]()
